You’ll enjoy a delicious 3-course meal in the special surroundings of The Kitchen on Wednesday 14th February, from 6pm-8pm. Picture this: flickering candlelight, charming ambiance, and a menu curated for lovebirds. Our chefs have whipped up a delicious array of dishes. From a Beef Tataki starter to Chocolate Fondant dessert, every bite will be a love letter to your senses. Whether you’re a duo of foodies or just hungry for some heartwarming connection, our Valentine’s Dinner is the perfect recipe for a night to remember. So, ditch the clichés and let The Kitchen be the cupid that strikes your taste buds with love. Valentine’s Day Menu To Start Crispy pork belly and black pudding Waldorf salad Smoked salmon mousse, sourdough crostini and gribiche dressing Beef tataki served with spring onions, red peppers and crispy wonton To Follow Puy lentils and butternut squash tart, applewood cheese sauce Salmon en croute served with chimichurri dressed sweet potato and wilted spinach Rib eye steak served with fries and bearnaise sauce To Finish To share – Chocolate fondant and peanut butter parfait, salted caramel popcorn Cheese board with oatcakes, grapes and quince jelly. The Kitchen The Kitchen is a gorgeous light-filled and spacious restaurant with stunning panoramic views of the estate and historic Orangerie. It is an idyllic place to eat to enjoy brunch or lunch all day, indoors or on our outdoor terrace. You’ll find child-friendly options and something tasty whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, gluten free or dairy free. Take a look at the spring/summer menu. With new dishes and menu classics it’s a tough choice…we’ll leave that part to you! We do recommend booking a table in advance as The Kitchen will book up quickly. Picture this, the sun is shining, birds are singing and you’re tucking into charcuterie to share, your favourite beverage in hand, surrounded by your nearest and dearest…perfection. The Kitchen Terrace is also the perfect place to eat at Restoration Yard if you are visiting with your four legged friend. We love welcoming your pups and will happily serve them with water and plenty of attention on arrival. Book a Table on The Terrace The Coffee Bar For those of you who are looking for an informal catch-up spot – with beautiful views of course – The Coffee Bar is the spot for you. Located just off of The Foodhall within The Store, you can pick up a hot (or cold!) beverage of your choice along with snacks, cakes, scones, soup and lots more goodies. Did we mention the panoramic views of The Orangerie as you bite into your weekend scone!? The Coffee Bar is open from 10am to 5pm every day. Plan Your Visit The Larder Perhaps you would like to enjoy a bite of Restoration Yard on the go – we’ve got you. Head into The Larder for takeaway treats galore. A popular Midlothian coffee stop, The Larder has sandwiches, wraps, kids lunch boxes, snacks and even treats for your pooch. Let us not forget the best of all! The Larder is home to our wide array of Giacopazzi’s ice cream. Cone or tub, flake or sprinkles, you decide. Why not take a blast to the past and treat the littles to a slushie on those extra warm summer days. The Larder is open from 9am every day (dogs are very welcome!)
