Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity believes that no child should face hospital alone. Every day, around 500 babies, children, young people and their families experience potentially life-changing hospital visits. The charity is inspired by their strength to help make each visit as positive, supportive and comforting as possible.Through fundraising and donations, the charity helps speed up recovery, reduce fear and bring comfort, reassurance, distraction and moments of fun when they are needed most, making a real difference to families across Edinburgh and beyond.

As part of our charity partnership, Restoration Yard will be raising vital funds for Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity throughout 2026/2027. Visitors can support the charity by donating at collection tins located at the Fort Douglas adventure playground Hub and within our store and eateries. Additionally, 20p from every ice cream sold will be donated directly to the charity. Our partnership will be woven into Dalkeith Country Park’s seasonal events programme, creating plenty of opportunities to get involved and help make a difference.
