This the perfect backdrop to our varied programme of Wellbeing classes, which all have a focus on health through wellness of spirit, mind and body. Our expert teachers will help you step off the world for that one vital moment to escape the crazy of the modern world. Enjoy yoga, Pilates, barre, mindfulness and outdoor fitness classes. At the heart of Restoration Yard is The Studio ~ a calming, warm and welcoming wellbeing space. The Studio hosts classes and workshops led by highly skilled teachers who are always happy to advise and assist if you wish. No pressure! Set in the heart of Dalkeith Country Park, this is the perfect space to reconnect to yourself, to others and to the stunning nature around. Life can be complicated, so take some time out and allow us to offer you a haven to restore, rebalance and renew. Our 2023 Wellbeing classes are now open for booking and include Yoga, Pilates, Barre, Mindfulness & Fitness. Our new class pricing does not include parking. Class prices were reduced from £10 to £7 as we know many of our customers prefer to walk into The Park. If you are bringing the car you will have to pay our £3 parking charge at the parking hut on arrival.

Declan Mair
Jen Wood
Specialising in therapeutic coaching and mindfulness, Jen Wood offers sessions in Dalkeith Country Park, and is also our Wellbeing Consultant, directing the weekly classes and monthly workshops.
Nina Goldberger
Nina is one of our resident yoga teachers. She has practised yoga since 2009, initially for fitness. In 2014 she discovered Ashtanga yoga and was thrown into the deep end with an intensive period in India. Here she met an excellent teacher for guidance. Nina is a stickler for alignment.
Declan Mair
Declan is one of our in-house teachers. Working by day and yogi by night, Declan uses yoga to find balance, stillness and peace in the chaos of modern life. Declan has completed a 500hr teacher training course with Yoga Scotland having previously practiced for many years.
Suzanne Maynard
Suzanne is a women’s health and fitness coach and mum to two young boys. Balancing the many roles in her life means she understands the pressures today’s women are dealing with. Suzanne puts her clients are the centre of the work she does, encouraging them to take time during the sessions for themselves.
Elspeth Talbot
Elspeth has been involved in health and fitness for over thirty years. She incorporates Pilates alongside exercise and fitness elements with a welcoming style, with options for all abilities and above all else a strong emphasis on having fun.
Suzi Burns
Suzi is a Qi Gong and meditation teacher. She is a Certified Holden QiGong Teacher and is accredited through the British School of Meditation and a graduate of davidji’s Masters of Wisdom and Meditation Teacher Training Academy. Both practices are her anchors in life and she is passionate about sharing them.
Lorraine Young
Lorraine is unique in her teaching style and concentrates on the customer experience. This attitude won Lorraine “Fitness Professional of the year in 2008” in the UK for her dedication and commitment to customer care. Lorraine presents internationally and continuous to develop Pilates teachers in Europe and the UK.
Anness Brown
Anness is a certified barreconcept instructor. A low impact fusion of Pilates, ballet and yoga designed to lengthen, strengthen and tone the body.
