Sanctuary sessions with Jen Wood are walking wellbeing sessions in the beautiful surroundings of Dalkeith Country Park. These sessions are also available online, or over a cup of something restorative if preferred!

Jen is an experienced therapist, coach, supervisor and mindfulness meditation teacher. She works in a trauma informed and embodied way, combining eastern psychological insights and modern evidence-based scientific approaches. She loves to help people reconnect to themselves, to others and to the natural world..

Jen is offering 8-week Mindfulness for Focusing the Mind courses and monthly Breathwork group sessions. She also manages our Wellbeing programme here at Restoration Yard.

Mindfulness Coaching

Jen Wood, will offer 8 week Mindfulness for Focusing the Mind courses starting from January 2023. A perfect gift for your loved ones or yourself. Learning mindfulness can give you the breathing space you need and equip you with a tool box of techniques for developing a more peaceful, accepting and compassionate life.
Mindfulness is a wonderful combination of ancient wisdom and modern neuroscience—with scientific evidence to prove its effectiveness—that can help you experience the joy of the present moment once again. The techniques you learn in your mindfulness sessions help you respond to the pressures of life in a calmer and more resourceful way. Mindfulness can help you increase your body awareness, cope better with pain an illness, develop acceptance and forgiveness, reduce anxiety and protect against depression. Wellbeing at Restoration Yard
Breathwork Group

Jen is facilitating a monthly Breathwork group to help you awaken your potential and reconnect with your life force through the breath. Breathwork is a simple and gentle way to improve your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. The beauty of breath is that it’s always available.

This monthly group will offer a gentle style of breathwork called Conscious Connected Breath, which originates from Rebirthing Breathwork. This process activates the inner wisdom of the body and helps you to reconnect to yourself. This style of Breathwork will be combined with visualisations and inspirational music, to create a transformational experience. You may simply connect more fully with your body and breath, or you may start to release old patterns of thinking or behaviour. It can be a great detox and reset.
