The Kitchen

The Kitchen is a gorgeous light-filled and spacious restaurant with stunning panoramic views of the estate and historic Orangerie. It is an idyllic place to eat to enjoy brunch or lunch all day, indoors or on our outdoor terrace. You’ll find child-friendly options and something tasty whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, gluten free or dairy free.

*Please note, dogs are not allowed in the restaurant. However, during the summer months your fur babies are more than welcome to join you for outdoor dining on the patio.*

Please ensure you book your table online in advance to avoid disappointment. We do accept walk-ins, however it is always advisable to book in advance, especially over the busy summer months.

Come and join us for delicious breakfast in The Kitchen served Monday – Friday 9.30am until 12pm.

Our breakfast menu showcases the best local seasonal produce around. Whether you’re an avid avocado fan, eggs benedict buff, in need of the full Scottish, we’ve got something to tickle all taste buds. Kids breakfast menu available too.

Weekend Brunch in The Kitchen

WEEKEND BRUNCH

Come and join us for delicious brunch in The Kitchen served Saturday and Sunday from 9.30am

Catch-up with friends, take a break from shopping in The Store or refuel after a walk in our home Dalkeith Country Park. With warming coffee on offer, yummy brunch dishes made daily and beautiful surroundings, restore yourself in The Kitchen.

LUNCH

Served Monday – Friday from 12pm. Please book your table online.

If you’re in need of one of our marvellous mains after a walk in the park, you’ll find something delicious to eat on our seasonal menu with a fabulous wine list to match and the best desserts around. Kids menu available too.

AFTERNOON TEA

Served Monday to Friday, from 2.30pm – 4.00pm for pre-booking only. Please call us on 0131 322 2572 to pre-book afternoon tea. *Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea*
