The Kitchen Restaurant - Stunning Views
The Kitchen

Our award-winning restaurant is a beautiful place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea with friends, family and little ones. Light-filled and spacious, our restaurant enjoys stunning panoramic views across the estate towards the River Esk and our historic Orangerie.

We’re open seven days a week offering a relaxed and friendly waiter service, and occasionally we are open in the evening for exclusive evening dining events. We recommend booking a table to avoid disappointment.

If you’re looking for something quicker and a little more casual, try our self-service Coffee Bar located next to the Foodhall in store.

With beautiful views across to the Orangerie, The Coffee Bar is a great spot for a coffee catch up or more relaxed light lunch, with a tempting selection of carefully-chosen teas and coffees, freshly-baked cakes, home-made soups and gourmet sandwiches. No booking required.

The Larder

For those visiting us with four-legged friends, The Larder is our dog-friendly coffee bar, located in the courtyard by the entrance to Fort Douglas.

Here you can enjoy a great selection of carefully-chosen teas and coffees, freshly-baked cakes and gourmet sandwiches – and, of course, a frozen treat from the Giacopazzi’s ice cream parlour. No booking required.

The Larder is currently closed for the festive season and will reopen in the Spring.
