The Venue

You may have seen our 18th century Orangerie. It is our pride and joy, and the element that will make your wedding that big bit different from the rest. The Orangerie is a truly beautiful setting for the two of you to say your vows while your family and friends watch closely from its surrounding lawn. It can then be seamlessly adapted to cater for your drinks reception, where you and your guests can enjoy some fizz, canapes, and conversation.

The Reception

Following your ceremony and drinks you will head to The Kitchen. Our gorgeous light-filled restaurant has panoramic views across Dalkeith Country Park and the River Esk. Old sits perfectly alongside new, where exposed brickwork meets modern zinc and floor-to-ceiling glass windows.

At The Kitchen we love our food, so you won't be surprised to hear that we have different options depending on what suits best. Opt for a traditional three course menu or choose a more relaxed BBQ-style buffet - the choice is yours! Our chefs are also happy to suggest some unique twists to ensure your wedding menu includes all the elements you love.

Time to Dance

A wedding would not be a wedding without some dancing! After a quick, unobtrusive turnaround, The Kitchen space is adapted to create ample space for your musical entertainment, as well as some crazy guest dancing of course. Close by will be your evening bar and buffet to keep everyone going till the early hours of the morning.
