Forrest Inspired Yoga

Wednesdays, 7.15pm - 8.15pm with Tess Johnson

Join Tess for a dynamic and rejuvenating yoga class, helping you reset and boost your physical and mental wellbeing.

The class aims to help you to breathe deeply, build strength, flexibility and self-awareness. There will be a focus on connecting with your core, and relaxing commonly tight areas, such as your neck, shoulders and hips, to help you find ease and bring aliveness to your body, so you feel revitalised. The classes draw on principles from Forrest Yoga, a modern style yoga designed to address the physical and emotional stresses and challenges we face in our lives today.

These classes are for everybody and for people of all ages, and most importantly you don’t need to be flexible to participate. You need only bring an open mind. Suitable for beginners.

About the teacher

Tess started practicing yoga to help with a back injury, but soon found its benefits in helping to process stress and emotions as well. She was quickly drawn to the style of Forrest Yoga, as a physically and emotionally healing practice, but also a highly fun practice which gives her a real buzz. Tess is continuously learning and exploring in her own yoga practice and through attending classes and trainings, within Forrest yoga and other styles and approaches, such as the complimentary Poppy Perinatal approach, to get more out of her own practice and to share this in her classes. Tess is a qualified Forrest Yoga teacher and a Graduate of the Poppy Perinatal Yoga Training.

Keeping You Safe

We have implemented the following measures to help keep our customers and colleagues safe at this time:

If you are unwell, please stay at home.
Maximum of 8 participants in the Wellbeing Lab.
There will be no equipment provided therefore please bring your own sanitised mat. There are spots marked on the floor for mat placement to ensure social distancing. 
Please wear your mask until you are in position on your mat.
There is a hand sanitiser station to use before you are in position on your mat. 
Please come dressed for the class. There are currently no changing or shower facilities. 
Please keep personal belongings to an absolute minimum and refrain from bringing bags if you can.
There will be a one-way system in place.
