Yin Yoga

Mondays, 7.15pm - 8.15pm with Nina Goldberger

Join Nina on Monday evenings for Yin Yoga. Be still, rejuvenate and find deep release in body and mind. Yin works with holding postures for longer, often using props (please bring props if you have them: 2 bricks (minimum), blanket, block, bolster (optional).

By targeting the meridian lines of the body through Traditional Chinese Philosophy, we can revive and move stagnant energy. This aids the health of the whole body allowing for optimal and harmonious function and health in the body's organs. Usually based around the seasons, themes can often include focus on shoulder release, hip opening or spinal mobility.

This class is suitable for all and will be accompanied by readings and aphorisms with some breath work.

About the Teacher 

Nina has been practising yoga since 2009 and first came to it for the fitness aspects. In 2014 she discovered Ashtanga yoga in India and was thrown into the deep end with an intensive period in Mysore and an excellent teacher for guidance who truly instilled the foundations of yoga within her. After some years of Ashtanga practice and training she started to explore the more dynamic Vinyasa Flow style of practice, complemented by Yin and Restorative yoga, which she now predominantly teaches.

Nina enjoys all the different ranges and styles of yoga, and dips in and out of and often attends workshops in Hatha, Forrest and Ashtanga, to stay inspired and keep her own flow fresh. She’s a stickler for alignment and knows how important it is to turn down the mental noise that can so easily plague our everyday lives. In yoga, there is peace.

Keeping you Safe

*This class will be taught via Zoom until we can welcome you back to The Wellbeing Lab.*

We have implemented the following measures to help keep our customers and colleagues safe at this time:

If you are unwell, please stay at home.
Maximum of 8 participants in the Wellbeing Lab.
There will be no equipment provided therefore please bring your own sanitised mat. There are spots marked on the floor for mat placement to ensure social distancing. 
Please wear your mask until you are in position on your mat.
There is a hand sanitiser station to use before you are in position on your mat. 
Please come dressed for the class. There are currently no changing or shower facilities. 
Please keep personal belongings to an absolute minimum and refrain from bringing bags if you can.
There will be a one-way system in place.
