Pilates for Beginners
Wednesdays, 6pm - 7pm
New to Pilates or returning after a break? Have you been advised by a healthcare professional to take up Pilates as you recover from injury? Then this is the class for you!
No experience necessary and complete beginners welcome. Learn how to use the power of breath as you build pelvic and core strength, improve your posture and have a great full body workout using Joseph Pilates’ classical Pilates principles to build strength and stability from the inside.
About the teacher
Suzanne Maynard is our inhouse Personal Trainer, as well as a qualified and knowledgeable pre and post-natal coach. Her classes are a place to meet others at a similar stage in life, while staying active or safely returning to exercise.
There will be a screening form required before participating in this class.
Keeping you safe
*This class will be taught via Zoom until we can welcome you back to The Wellbeing Lab.*
We have implemented the following measures to help keep our customers and colleagues safe at this time:
If you are unwell, please stay at home.
Maximum of 8 participants in the Wellbeing Lab.
There will be no equipment provided therefore please bring your own sanitised mat. There are spots marked on the floor for mat placement to ensure social distancing.
Please wear your mask until you are in position on your mat.
There is a hand sanitiser station to use before you are in position on your mat.
Please come dressed for the class. There are currently no changing or shower facilities.
Please keep personal belongings to an absolute minimum and refrain from bringing bags if you can.
There will be a one-way system in place.
