Restoration Yard has re-opened!

We are delighted to re-open our doors! The Store, The Kitchen and The Larder have once again flung open the doors and can't wait to welcome you back. Book a table to enjoy the delicious new all day menu in The Kitchen, or pop in for a browse around The Store. The newly stocked shelves are piled high with fashion, homewares, books, beauty and kids games and our foodhall is not to be missed!

If you can't visit just yet, our Online Store is fully functioning so you can shop from home. Outdoor fitness classes are running and we're looking forward to offering indoor Wellbeing Lab classes from the middle of May.

What's open and when?

THE STORE

The Store is open 7 days a week from 10am to 5pm. And you can still shop online and get your products delivered - yipee!

THE KITCHEN

The Kitchen is open daily, from 9.30am, offering a delicious new all day menu, including your favourite breakfast and brunch dishes, as well as light bites, lunch and of course dessert! Indoor and outdoor dining is available ~ book your table now! Four-legged friends are welcome to join outdoor diners on the terrace.

THE LARDER

The Larder is open everyday for takeaway treats from 9am. Serving salad boxes, sandwiches, soups, kids boxes, scooped ice cream, cakes & treats as well as your favourite caffeine fix.

THE COFFEE BAR AND THE CABIN

The Cabin will be open for takeaway hot drinks and sweet treats on weekends and during school holidays. The Coffee Bar is temporarily closed.

THE WELLBEING LAB

The Wellbeing Lab is currently offering a range of online classes. Outdoor fitness classes are running and we hope to re-open indoor classes in the middle of May. See the new timetable here.

Safety Measures

Please take some time to read our safety measures below when we re-open. We have a number of measures in place to help keep colleagues and customers safe. However, we need your help too in abiding by social distancing guidelines and sticking to the new systems. Thank you for your support - we can't wait to see you at Restoration Yard.

GENERAL GUIDANCE

  • If you feel unwell or have been in contact with someone who has been unwell, please do not visit.
  • Please wear a face covering.
  • Please maintain social distancing and keep socially distant from other visitors and staff. You can still ask for help - just from a distance.
  • Please pay by card and use contactless payments where you can. We can't accept cash at this time.
  • We will operate one-way systems wherever possible. Please follow the signage.
  • We will have hand sanitiser stations at various points. Please use these.
  • We will have perspex screens at tills.
  • The toilets are for RY customers only.

THE STORE

  • A one-way system is in place. Please follow signage.
  • The entrance is the one you'd normally use for the Wellbeing Lab. The exit is via the Foodhall door.
  • We are limiting the number of customers in store at any one time.
  • Please wear a face covering.
  • Please take a basket at the entrance.
  • Our Online Store will continue to offer delivery plus Click & Collect.

THE KITCHEN

  • Online booking only. You can book online here.
  • We cannot serve alcohol indoors, but we can on our outdoor terrace.
  • Your order will be taken at your table. To reduce contact we have a QR code in frames on your table that link you through to our website to look at our menus. If you'd like to look at these in advance, you can view these here: breakfast menu | lunch menu.
  • Tables can be booked in line with Government recommendations, regardless of age. Under 12's are included in the party numbers.
  • We will have a one-way system as much as possible in place with entrances and exits.
  • We will stagger dining times as much as we can, but there might be a small queue outside from time to time and we ask customers to be patient and understanding of this and to follow the queue lines.
  • We will operate indoor dining with less than two-metre distancing but it will still be spacious and safe.
  • All our team will serve wearing masks.
  • Please pop your mask on if moving from your table, such as going to the bathroom.
  • The bathrooms are two-way and we ask you to maintain social distancing.

THE WELLBEING LAB (indoor classes will begin again in mid May)

  • Maximum of 8 participants in the Wellbeing Lab, socially distanced.
  • Maximum of 30 for outdoor classes, socially distanced.
  • There will be no equipment provided therefore please bring your own sanitised mat. There are spots marked on the floor for mat placement to ensure social distancing.
  • Please wear your mask until you are in position on your mat.
  • There is a hand sanitiser station to use before you are in position on your mat.
  • Come dressed for the class. There are currently no changing or shower facilities.
  • Please keep personal belongings to an absolute minimum and refrain from bringing bags if you can.
  • There will be a one-way system in place.

THE LARDER

  • A one-way system is in place. Please follow signage.
  • Please wear a face covering.

Dalkeith Country Park

Dalkeith Country Park remains open for fresh air and exercise for local access only. Fort Douglas is now open. Town Gate will remain open to pedestrians and vehicles for local access seven days a week. Please ensure you adhere to the Government’s social distancing guidelines at all times and stay at least two metres apart from others. Normal park rules apply – please do not bring BBQs or light fires in the Park and please be respectful of all park users from walkers to cyclists, dog walkers, horse riders and our farming tenant.
