Restoration Yard – Alphabet Mug Collection
Restoration Yard’s ‘Alphabet Collection’ is inspired by a Sèvres porcelain service procured by Louis XV in 1773 for his last mistress, Comtesse du Barry. A plate from this series is in the Buccleuch Collection, at Boughton House in Northamptonshire.
Restoration Yard has reimagined the original DB monograms, to create stunning, unique initials entwined with floral motifs. The design for each letter is artist drawn and hand-painted, creating a joyful, expressive alphabet of letters for Restoration Yard.
Reinterpreting the essence of historical designs to create beautiful contemporary, vibrant new collections lies at the heart of Restoration Yard’s creative ethos; and most importantly we hope this makes you smile!
At Restoration Yard we believe in the power of beauty to heal and elevate the spirit. We source ethically, finding joy in strong design and ideas that provide nurture for body, mind and soul.
